Capgemini is hiring a skilled BigID Developer to join their software engineering team in Pune or Bangalore. This role is designed for professionals with hands-on experience in data discovery, classification, and privacy compliance using BigID or similar tools. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining BigID-powered workflows that ensure sensitive data is discovered, classified, labeled, and protected across enterprise systems.

Your Role:

• Design and manage data discovery and classification workflows using BigID for structured and unstructured data
• Configure and maintain BigID connectors for databases (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server), cloud storage (AWS S3, Azure Blob), and collaboration tools (Google Drive, O365)
• Customize classification policies, sensitivity labels, and data tagging rules per organizational compliance frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, SEBI, etc.)
• Collaborate with security, compliance, and data owners to define PII, PCI, and other sensitive data strategies
• Integrate BigID with Microsoft Information Protection (MIP), DLP tools, and SIEM platforms
• Monitor discovery scans, troubleshoot technical issues, and optimize classification operations
• Generate insightful dashboards and reports highlighting data risks, coverage, and mitigation plans

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of experience with BigID or similar tools (e.g., Varonis, Informatica)
• Deep understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance needs
• Strong skills working with structured data (RDBMS) and unstructured data sources (file shares, SharePoint, cloud storage)
• Familiarity with metadata management and data lineage tools
• Hands-on experience integrating BigID with security platforms such as MIP or SIEM tools
• Proficiency in configuring and customizing classification policies, data flows, and operations modules
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills
